ارتفعت أسعار النحاس في بداية تعاملاتها اليوم (الإثنين)، في ظل تراجع الدولار وأسعار النفط وسط تفاؤل الأسواق باحتمالية التوصل لاتفاق سلام بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران، ما ساهم في تخفيف حدة المخاوف من ارتفاع التضخم وتباطؤ النمو الاقتصادي العالمي.

وارتفعت العقود القياسية للنحاس (تسليم ثلاثة أشهر) في «بورصة لندن للمعادن» بنسبة 0.9% ليصل إلى 13,635 دولارا للطن.

وحقق عقد النحاس الأكثر تداولًا في بورصة شنغهاي للعقود الآجلة مكاسب بنسبة 0.9% ليصل إلى 105.37 ألف يوان (15,507.56 دولار) للطن.

وأشارت «سوني كوماري»، المحللة في بنك «إيه إن زد»، إلى أن الأنباء الإيجابية المتعلقة بمسار الصراع تدعم ثقة السوق تجاه المعادن الصناعية، موضحة أن المعادن الأساسية تتعرض لضغوط تتعلق بضعف الطلب الناجم عن تباطؤ النمو الاقتصادي، ما يحد من المكاسب الناجمة عن مخاوف اضطراب الإمدادات، وفقا لوكالات إعلامية غربية.

Copper prices rose at the beginning of trading today (Monday), amid a decline in the dollar and oil prices, alongside market optimism regarding the possibility of reaching a peace agreement between the United States and Iran, which contributed to easing concerns over rising inflation and slowing global economic growth.

Standard copper contracts (three-month delivery) on the "London Metal Exchange" increased by 0.9% to reach $13,635 per ton.

The most traded copper contract on the Shanghai Futures Exchange gained 0.9% to reach 105,370 yuan ($15,507.56) per ton.

Soni Kumari, an analyst at ANZ Bank, noted that positive news regarding the conflict's trajectory supports market confidence in industrial metals, explaining that base metals are under pressure due to weak demand resulting from slowing economic growth, which limits gains stemming from supply disruption fears, according to Western media outlets.
