رفعت شركات التكرير الحكومية في الهند أسعار التجزئة للديزل والبنزين مجدداً اليوم (السبت)، في محاولة لتقليص خسائرها الناجمة عن بيع الوقود بأسعار مخفضة، والسيطرة على ارتفاع الطلب.

وصعدت أسعار الوقود بنحو 1%، أي بأقل من روبية واحدة، ليباع البنزين في نيودلهي بسعر 99.51 روبية (1.0399 دولار) للتر، والديزل بسعر 92.49 روبية للتر، وفق موقع شركة «إنديان أويل كورب» (Indian Oil Corp)، أكبر شركة لتجارة الوقود بالتجزئة في البلاد. وتختلف الأسعار بين مناطق الهند تبعاً للضرائب المحلية.

كما رفعت شركتا «بهارات بتروليوم كورب» (Bharat Petroleum Corp) و«هندوستان بتروليوم كورب» (Hindustan Petroleum Corp)، الأصغر حجماً، أسعارهما ضمن النطاق نفسه. وزادت شركة «إندرابراثا غاز» (Indraprastha Gas) أيضاً أسعار الغاز الطبيعي المضغوط بنسبة 1% في جميع المناطق التي تخدمها، بحسب متحدث باسم الشركة.

وتضررت الدولة الواقعة في جنوب آسيا بشدة من صراع الشرق الأوسط، في ظل اعتمادها الكبير على إمدادات الطاقة المنقولة عبر مضيق هرمز، الممر المائي الحيوي المغلق فعلياً منذ اندلاع حرب إيران في شهر فبراير.

The state-owned refining companies in India have raised retail prices for diesel and gasoline again today (Saturday), in an attempt to reduce their losses from selling fuel at discounted prices and to control rising demand.

Fuel prices have increased by about 1%, which is less than one rupee, with gasoline in New Delhi selling for 99.51 rupees ($1.0399) per liter, and diesel priced at 92.49 rupees per liter, according to the website of Indian Oil Corp, the largest fuel retail trading company in the country. Prices vary across different regions of India depending on local taxes.

The smaller companies Bharat Petroleum Corp and Hindustan Petroleum Corp have also raised their prices within the same range. Indraprastha Gas has also increased compressed natural gas prices by 1% in all areas it serves, according to a company spokesperson.

The South Asian country has been severely affected by the Middle East conflict, given its heavy reliance on energy supplies transported through the Strait of Hormuz, a vital waterway that has been effectively closed since the outbreak of the Iran War in February.
