كشفت بيانات وزارة التجارة الأمريكية الصادرة اليوم، ارتفاع عجز الميزان التجاري للولايات المتحدة خلال شهر مارس الماضي، مدفوعًا بزيادة في الواردات بوتيرة تفوق نمو الصادرات.

وأظهرت البيانات ارتفاع العجز التجاري إلى 60.3 مليار دولار خلال مارس، مقارنةً ب57.8 مليار دولار في فبراير الماضي وفقًا للبيانات المعدلة، وجاءت القراءة قريبة من توقعات المحللين البالغة 60.4 مليار دولار.

وعلى جانب الأداء التجاري، ارتفعت قيمة الواردات الأمريكية بنسبة 2.3% لتصل إلى 381.2 مليار دولار، فيما زادت الصادرات بنسبة 2% لتسجل 320.9 مليار دولار خلال الفترة نفسها.

فجوة السلع والخدمات

وكان العجز التجاري للسلع والخدمات في الولايات المتحدة قد ارتفع خلال شهر فبراير الماضي، وسط ارتفاع كل من الواردات والصادرات.

وأظهرت بيانات وزارة التجارة، أخيراً، أن الفجوة في تجارة السلع والخدمات توسعت 4.9% مقارنة بالشهر السابق لتصل إلى 57.3 مليار دولار.

وارتفعت الصادرات 4.2% في فبراير، مدفوعة بشحنات الذهب والغاز الطبيعي. وزادت الواردات 4.3% نتيجة ارتفاع الشحنات الواردة من أجهزة الكمبيوتر وأشباه الموصلات والسيارات.

Data from the U.S. Department of Commerce released today revealed an increase in the trade deficit of the United States during March, driven by a rise in imports outpacing the growth of exports.

The data showed that the trade deficit rose to $60.3 billion in March, compared to $57.8 billion in February, according to revised figures, with the reading coming close to analysts' expectations of $60.4 billion.

On the trade performance side, the value of U.S. imports increased by 2.3% to reach $381.2 billion, while exports rose by 2% to record $320.9 billion during the same period.

Goods and Services Gap

The trade deficit for goods and services in the United States had increased during February, amid a rise in both imports and exports.

Recent data from the Department of Commerce showed that the gap in goods and services trade widened by 4.9% compared to the previous month, reaching $57.3 billion.

Exports rose by 4.2% in February, driven by shipments of gold and natural gas. Imports increased by 4.3% due to a rise in shipments of computers, semiconductors, and automobiles.
